Project Details

The Electrolytes building project involved comprehensive work on the Electrolytes Building, featuring various structural components including primary steel, handrail, stairs, ladders, and platforms. 

The primary steelwork was fire-protected with "Chartek," applied to a 5mm thickness to provide 60 minutes of fire resistance. Barrier coatings then attended the site to complete all site applied elements. This robust protection is crucial for maintaining structural integrity during a fire, ensuring safety and compliance with stringent fire safety standards.

In addition to fire protection, our team installed edge protection, decking, and netting to improve the overall safety and functionality of the structure. We ensured integration and execution of these critical components and maintained a smooth workflow and timely project completion.

Outcome

The project was completed successfully within the five-week timeframe, demonstrating SCH Site Services' ability to manage and deliver high-quality results, often under challenging conditions. 

The structural steel work, coupled with effective edge protection, decking, and fire protection, has resulted in a robust and safe building for our client.
