Project Completion Report: Spennymoor Leisure Centre
Proud to announce the completion of a local Leisure Centre.
A finished project in Spennymoor...
SCH Site Services takes pride in announcing the successful completion of the Spennymoor Leisure Centre Project, executed in two phases—internal and external.
The internal phase comprised additional steelwork strategically erected to create a new wall and walkway within the existing structure. Our dedicated team, operating beneath the existing canopy, worked through the challenges of modifying the existing steelwork, carefully integrating it with new components.
The external phase, the creation of a new entrance, presented a new set of challenges. The incorporation of a café extension had to be considered, ensuring the smooth integration of new steelwork into the existing framework. A collaborative effort with the council and Billinghurst George Structural Engineer was paramount in refining connection designs for optimal fit.
The cumulative hot-rolled weight for both internal and external steelwork amounted to approximately 8 tons. Working hand in hand with the council and structural engineers, we ensured that the new steelwork blended smoothly into the existing structure.
The Spennymoor Leisure Centre Project showcases SCH Site Services' ability to execute structural modifications. As we close this chapter, we extend our gratitude to all involved parties for their collaborative spirit, affirming our commitment to delivering excellence in every project.
