Project Newton
A testament to SCH Site Services' commitment to collaboration.
A project alongside Willmott Dixon...
Project Newton in Billingham stands as a testament to SCH Site Services' commitment to collaboration.
Executed alongside Willmott Dixon and a large pharmaceutical company, this project involved the construction of another office block, this time spanning 4 storeys high. Once completed, it had demanded a robust 900 tonnes of steel.
Anticipating future expansion, SCH is returning for additional steelwork, showcasing our foresight and adaptability.
The planning spanned 4 to 5 months, setting the stage even before stepping onto the site.
Starting in October 2022, SCH initiated the fabrication drawings, ensuring a thorough and organised approach.
The whopping 900 tonnes of steel was transported in 54 loads via different wagons, each dispatched based on the evolving progress.
Beyond steel, SCH took charge of installing concrete stairs and lift shafts, offering comprehensive solutions to our client.
This venture exemplifies the essence of collaboration, with every member of the SCH team contributing to its success. It is our biggest project yet in terms of weight, proving we can compete against the best!
The project was completed on time and resulted in a very happy client!
Stay tuned for more updates on our continuous commitment to excellence!
